Cyber Monday 10% Increase From Last Year

NielsenRating is reporting that online retailers had a 10% increase in traffic from last year. Bringing their total unique visitors to 21.2 million from 19.2 million the year before. They also report that Consumer Electronics saw the most growth between 11/16 and 11/23 with a 235% increase, Computer Hardware/Software was in second place with 121% increase. Shopping Comparison/Portals also saw an increase of 95% (I would think nobrainerdeals.com would fall in this category as well).

I am glad to see that online retailers are continuing to get more and more sales. Many including myself have waited in long lines before a major brick and mortar has opened it is a much needed relief that I can shop from the comfort of my own house.

Pretty interesting report worth taking a look at.
